DIFFICULTY: Medium/hard. 10-12km with lots of off-track

DESCRIPTION:

A walk into the Upper-Loddon forest with lots of off-track wandering, a decent into the Tarilta Creek Gorge (so-called but fairly mild) and a visit to a nice waterfall if rainfall allows then a scrub bash to a part of the Sebastopol goldfield and back to the start

DOGS: Dogs are allowed on the walk but must be kept on a leash.

REGISTRATION: Registration is essential no later than day before

BRING: Walkers should bring their own first-aid kit and any required personal medications, water bottles, sunscreen and personal hiking gear (sunglasses, walking sticks, small pack, etc.). Wear clothing appropriate for the predicted weather conditions on the day. Hiking boots or good walking shoes are recommended. Bring lunch for the halfway mark somewhere in the wilderness
