The Great Dividing Trail Network (GDTN) is a linked trail of five public walking and bike riding tracks running through national, state, and regional parks, as well as state forests and shire council land. Currently it is over 300km long and links the central Victorian cities and towns of Ballarat, Buninyong, Creswick, Daylesford, Blackwood, Bacchus Marsh, Vaughan, Fryerstown, Castlemaine, Chewton and Bendigo. The GDTA has audited a route for a 40km extension of the network from Blackwood to Mount Macedon.
