With the launch of the second edition of the Goldfields Track: Walk or Ride Guide on 18 December 2017, the Goldfields Track between Mt Buninyong and Creswick was titled ‘Eureka Track’. The walking route has been amended to follow the dual-use Canadian Creek Trail between Mount Clear and the Ballarat CBD. The official cycle route is unchanged along the Yarrowee River, but riders are free to follow the walk route along the Canadian Creek Trail if preferred.
The title “Wallaby Track” now refers to the Goldfields Track from Creswick to Lake Daylesford only.
