Most people heading out into the bush for a walk or a mountain bike ride don’t have all day. We’ve wanted for many years to make Daylesford’s fabulously varied terrain more easily accessible – from the vastness of the Wombat Forest to the Central Highlands’ lakes and riversides, from its abandoned railway lines to gold rush era ruins.

“For many years, the Great Dividing Trail Association has built pathways that lead people into the great outdoors, whether for physical exercise or simply to refresh the spirit through contact with the natural world.

“This new guide to shorter circuit walks and rides around Daylesford has the same high quality production that won awards for the GDTA’s Goldfields Track Walk or Ride Guide. It will be a welcome addition to the packs of locals and visitors alike.”
