Barry Golding is researching a book about six mountains in southern Dja Dja Wurrung Country as part of a 2023 State Library Victoria Fellowship. The peaks are today known as Mounts Kooroocheang, Beckworth, Greenock, Tarrengower, Alexander & Franklin.
Three is a community presentation in Daylesford (at Daylesford Neighborhood Centre) on Friday evening 29 September, 8.00 to 10 pm. Organized in association the Great Dividing Trail Association (GDTA), it will highlight some of the emerging findings from Barry’s SLV Fellowship.
[NOTE: Barry is leading two separate but related GDTA field trips on Friday and Saturday, 29 & 30 September 2023 (Grand Final long weekend), which require separate registration].

Registration is essential for this free Friday evening presentation by Barry Golding, assisted by Clive Willman (Castlemaine). It will focus on some lesser known, emerging findings about unsettling changes to the three peaks in the SLV Fellowship within the Hepburn Shire: Gurutjanga (Mount Kooroocheang), Lalkambuk (Mount Franklin) and Nyaninuk (Mount Beckworth).
