DESCRIPTION: This interpretive walk along the granitic Mt Alexander / Liyanganuk
ridge top explores a number of lesser known legacies and sites, environments and
vistas in eastern Dja Dja Wurrung Country on and off the Goldfields Track. It includes
Langs Lookout, Mt Alexander summit, historic granite quarries, the former Koala Park,
the Dog Rocks, rare Ballantinia plants and the site of a ladies silk producing experiment
on the south of the range during the 1870s.
DOGS: Dogs on a leash are allowed.
REGISTRATION: This registration link be will active a fortnight prior to the event;
numbers are limited; registration closes two days prior to the event.

MEET: Mount Alexander (near Harcourt) The exact meeting location on Mount
Alexander will provided to registrants by email several days before the event.
Participants will assist with car shuffle at the start of the walk.
