Reaching the Goldfields Track from Ballarat Station

Ballarat Railway Station is home to a Goldfields Track Entry Station, being directly accessible via frequent modern passenger trains to and from Melbourne.

To access the Goldfields Track from the station, first walk to the Entry Station at the western end of platform 1 and turn left (south) passing between the main station building and the coach terminal.

Proceed for 25 metres and turn left again past the main station entrance; then take the pedestrian crossing and the walkway to Mair Street.

Follow the northern footpath eastwards for 250 metres, then turn left onto Davies Street and pass through the tunnel under the railway embankment.

Cross Scott Parade and continue northwards to Ebden Street. Turn right and after 120 metres the Goldfields Track is reached.
