LIYANGANUK/MT ALEXANDER WALK

This interpretive walk along the granitic Mt Alexander / Liyanganuk ridge top explores a number of interesting and lesser-known sites and vistas on and off the Goldfields Track. It includes Langs Lookout, Mt Alexander summit, historic granite quarries, the former Koala Park, the Dog Rocks, rare ballintinia plants and the site of a ladies’ silk producing experiment on the south of the range in the 1870s..
Final iinformation about where we meet on Mt Alexander will be sent to registrants a few days beforehand. Anticipate a car shuffle at the start. It is recommended you carry a first aid kit, your own medication, drinking water and food for morning tea and lunch.

Bookings are essential and open 2 weeks before the date and close on the Friday before.
