Old Tom mtb ride – SUNDAY march 13
The first GDTA Guided Mtb Ride for 2022 will include the popular Old Tom Track which is featured in ride 21 in our Central Victorian Highlands Walk and Ride Circuits. The ride will leave Lake Daylesford and head south east, taking in part of the Lerderderg Track before heading across to Sailors Falls and then returning to Lake Daylesford via Old Tom Track. The ride will take about two hours and is rated as medium.
You will need a mountain bike in good working order. You could do it on a good gravel bike with chunky tyres and low gearing if you are super keen. You will also need a reasonable level of fitness because this is Daylesford and there will be hills.
To register for the ride, click on the link below. Each rider must register separately. Registration is free for GDTA members. Non-member guests are welcome but must pay a $5 charge for insurance. To participate in GDTA events, it is a requirement that you are fully vaccinated for COVID-19. Vaccination certificates will be checked when you sign in. https://www.gdt.org.au/mar-ride-rego
Registrations for the ride close at noon on Friday, March 11. Places are limited.
