GDTA Guided Walk – Woowookarung Regional Park

DESCRIPTION: The walk will be about 12 km long and will include the recently completed 1.8 km nature walk which will eventually be part of the Goldfields Track. Owing to the rough nature of some tracks, boots are recommended, and walking poles if you normally use them. Features include The Lookout which overlooks Ballarat to distant peaks of the Great Dividing Range.

Please submit a separate form for each walker.

HEALTH AND SAFETY: COVID-19 restrictions in place at the time of the walk will apply. If restrictions on group size occur prior to the walk, it may be necessary to cancel the walk or restrict numbers.

BRING: Walkers should bring their own first-aid kit and any required personal medications, water bottles, sunscreen and personal hiking gear (sunglasses, walking sticks, small pack, etc). Wear clothing appropriate for the predicted weather conditions on the day. Bring morning tea and lunch.

MEET: Location and time details will be confirmed on registration. Registrations are essential before noon on Friday, 28 May.
