GDTA GUIDED NOVEMBER WALK

Beehive Gully – Sunday 29 November

DESCRIPTION: Approximately 12km with some hills. Medium difficulty. About 4 hours. The walk highlights include Jackson’s lookout, Argyle Spring, Beehive Gully, the Beehive mine site, Hunt’s Dam and morning tea at the Chocolate Mill.

REGISTRATION: The walk will be led by Tim Bach. To register, text 0409 232 572 or e-mail editor@gdt.org.au giving names of all walkers and individual contact numbers. You must register separately for the GDTA Members’ Lunch which will follow the walk.

HEALTH AND SAFETY: COVID-19 restrictions in place at the time of the walk will apply.  Wear face masks; practise social distancing and observe good hygiene.

BRING: Walkers should bring their own first-aid kit and any required personal medications, water bottles, sun screen and personal hiking gear (sun glasses, walking sticks, small pack, etc). Wear clothing appropriate for the predicted weather conditions on the day. Coffee, hot chocolate, tea and light snacks (read “chocolate!”) will be available for purchase at the Chocolate Mill or you can bring your own. Lunch will be provided for GDTA members at the Hepburn Springs Reserve following the walk. You must register separately for the Members’ Lunch.
