New Lerderderg Track Map Now Available – 4 April 2020
Edition 2 of the GDTN Lerderderg Track map is now available. Cartographer Ken Dowling has overseen the production and publication of this latest edition at the scale of 1:60,000 which incorporates several changes from the earlier map. Most significant are the new Entry Station at Bridport Lookout which overlooks Lake Daylesford, the amended passage over Cornish Hill on the way to Jubilee Lake, the changed entry into Bacchus Marsh including an attractive section along the Werribee River, and the addition of the bike route where it departs from the walk track near Blackwood and southwards to Mount Blackwood. Individual track distances are also shown for the walk and bike routes. Another welcome addition is an elevation profile.
The map is available for $9.99 including postage from the website Shop, and in due course from various Visitor Information Centres and other retail outlets if and when they are open, and delivery ot the maps can be made to them.
